Early in September eighteen members of the Bike Group spent four glorious days exploring Mayne and Salt Spring islands, Sidney and the Saanichton area via the beautiful Lochside trail....
 
Tuesday - Ferry from Crofton to Vesuvius on Saltspring Island with lunch and a cider tasting at the Salt Spring Wild Cider House and a visit to the Garry Oaks Winery. Dinner in Sidney at the Surly Mermaid.
 
Wednesday - Explored the Saanich Peninsula on the Lochside Trail. Lunch at the Med Grill in the Royal Oak area. Visits to the Sea Cider Farm and Cider House in Saanichton. Back to Sidney for a visit to Beacon Brewing and then dinner at Jacks on the Water.
 
Thursday - Ferry from Sidney to Mayne island. Explored the Japanese Memorial Gardens. Lunch at Miners Bay. Visit to the Georgina Lighthouse. Pick up jams and jellies from The Briary. Stop at the Mayne Island Resort for ice-cream. 
 
Friday - Ferry from Sidney back to Salt Spring island before heading home. Visit to the Salt spring Island Cheese company. Across the island to Moby's Pub for lunch.
