Well..it was an amazing day for a trolley ride to four Comox Valley breweries....
Ace was first up with Dan the brewmaster, filling us in on the history of Ace and the science behind their beer-making.
Onto Gladstone’s, where we drew a lot of attention coming off the trolley and occupying 2 huge tables! Land and Sea was our next stop. Nachos were scarfed down with vigour…then on to our last stop at Church St. Taphouse.
En route, Alan Brown was kind enough to share with us his extensive knowledge of all things beer AND the history of the breweries in our area. Caps were won by answering skill-testing (really??)questions….we are an observant bunch. Snacks on the bus and our excellent driver, Anton, completed the package.
