- enjoy taking photographs
- like to take pictures with others who share your interest
- would like to share your images with others
- would like to be inspired by how others see the world through the lens
This is the group for you!
We are a group of photographers with a wide variety of photographic skills, equipment and experience.
Our main purpose is to share our joy of photography through photo outings and image sharing. Natural opportunities to learn from each other will surface throughout our activities.
We plan a minimum of one group photo outing per month followed by a coffee meet up for those interested. During inclement weather the photo outing will be impromptu. As the weather improves, outings will be scheduled in advance and around opportunities.
In addition, we have a monthly photo theme. It is interesting to see the variety of photos that can materialize from a common theme.
On the last Wednesday of each month at 7 pm, we meet up for an image sharing gathering. Each member is asked to submit up to 5 of their photos from the month for others to view. The photos will NOT be critiqued. However members are welcome to comment on what appeals to them about a particular photo or ask questions about the inspiration for the photo.
The only pre requisite is that you must know how to operate your own camera. All cameras have their own unique operating system.
