Movies Group

This group is for people who love movies!
 
We attend regular 'mainstream' movies together and also make a point of attending as many of the Comox Valley Art Gallery Film Series as we can. Members are responsible for purchasing their own tickets.
 

ABOUT THE CVAG FILM SERIES

The Comox Valley Art Gallery Film Series is a selection of titles from the Toronto International Film Festival Film Circuit. CVAG normally presents two Film Series each year – one in the winter/spring and one in the fall.

Tickets are $17 for CVAG Members, $18 for Non-Members.

Season passes for all 10 films are $153 for CVAG Members, $162 for Non-Members. SEASONS PASSES for the fall series re sold out. Keep your eyes open for when the Winter/Spring season's pass go on sale later in the fall.

Often club members have bought tickets in advance, but are then unable to attend. In these cases an email is sent to members Movies group and people without tickets have the opportunity to buy them.

Landmark Cinema

The valley only has one theatre - Landmark Cinema. We attend both the CVAG movies and the regular 'mainstream' movies at this location. Driftwood Mall - 2655 Cliffe Ave, Courtenay.

Dinner After the Movie

Sometimes we arrange to have a meal together after the movie. You will receive an email and be asked to let the coordinators know if you would like to attend the dinner after the movie.
