Sky Island and Snowball Lake
Our group has joined the Strathcona Probus group to snowshoe through the Mt Washington Alpine Village to Sky Island and Snowball Lake a few times now. This time we left our snowshoes at home. The trails were hard packed and perfect for micro spikes. Unfortunately there were no ice castles on Sky Island. With all of the warm weather and rain on the mountain lately we were happy to have snow and ice under foot most of the time.
