Today's sunny (albeit a bit foggy) weather brought out a bumper crop of walkers.
Our route took us from the Courtenay Airpark northwards along the Puntledge River on the Courtenay Riverway Heritage Walk. It was an especially interesting walk today as we noted the changes occurring at the Kus-kus-sum Park as rehabilitation continues with the removal of the metal retaining wall. With all the stops for gawking, our progress was slower than usual so we were just past the 17th St Bridge when it was time to turn around for our return to the Airpark. A number of us stopped off at Bean Around the World Cafe for hot drinks and conversation.
