Starting at the north end of the park allows us to hike the full length of the Mt Geoffrey Escarpment on Hornby Island. With 4 ferry rides to and from, a bus on Hornby and an unsettled weather forecast there were lots of ways our hike could go south (figuratively). For the first time with this route everything went smoothly and on schedule. We had a few brief showers but the real rain held off until we were driving home.
